Job Description
We're looking for a Product Manager to lead our App Store team. You will be the technical architect of our partner ecosystem, responsible for translating complex business requirements into robust technical specifications for our API and integration infrastructure. You are someone who thrives on autonomy, loves transforming user insights into scalable solutions, and enjoys being the "expert" who brings clarity to complex technical processes.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Build and maintain quarterly and annual roadmaps for the App Store, evangelizing the product vision to stakeholders.
  • Defining technical requirements for API scalability, security, and performance.
  • Support the long-term strategy of the ALIS App Store by scoping new integrations and identifying market trends.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to understand customer behavior and measure feature adoption.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external integration partners, communicating with "charm, clarity, and professionalism".
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new partners and provide ongoing support to ensure technical alignment.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop GTM strategies, ensuring new integrations are launched with maximum impact and visibility.
  • Work closely with Onboarding and Support teams to create training materials and documentation that ensure seamless feature rollouts.
  • Keep all parties informed through frequent demos and transparent status updates, ensuring stakeholders feel heard during the development cycle.
  • Oversee the tools and technical documentation required to facilitate seamless partner integrations.
  • Lead daily scrums and manage the engineering backlog, ensuring the team is never blocked and work flows at a high velocity.
  • Partner with engineering to build integrations using APIs, HL7s, VPN, SFTP, and data formats like CSV/XLS.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to map workflows and use discovery techniques to de-risk projects for feasibility and business viability.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and iterate fast based on feedback to ensure releases solve verified customer pain points.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for integration requests, communicating with "charm, clarity, and professionalism".
  • Create documentation and lead training for Support, Sales Engineering, and Client Services to ensure seamless feature rollouts.
  • Keep all parties looped into progress through frequent demos and transparent status updates.

Qualifications
  • 3+ consecutive years of experience at a SaaS company
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data exchange issues and read/interpret API documentation or system logs to identify bottlenecks
  • You are energized by client interaction and thrive in collaborative, high-energy environments
  • You take full ownership of your "pod," sticking your neck out to drive initiatives from idea to release.
  • You align with the ALIS culture of honesty, integrity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
  • Bonus if:
    • Previous industry experience in assisted living or healthcare software.
    • A track record of evolving products into industry-leading solutions.

What Success Looks Like
  • Product Evangelism - You have become the internal "expert" on the ALIS product and its market, moving beyond just managing a backlog to actively shaping a vision that excites both the team and the customers.
  • The Pod is a "Well-Oiled Machine" - You have established a rhythmic, high-velocity sprint cycle where the engineering team is never blocked, requirements are crystal clear, and morale is high because the path forward is always defined.
  • Data-Driven Roadmap - You aren't just "guessing" what to build next. You can point to specific qualitative and quantitative insights that justify the product vision and quarterly milestones.
  • Seamless Communication - All stakeholders never have to wonder about a project's status. They feel heard during the feedback loop and empowered by the documentation and training you provide.
  • High-Impact Releases - Features aren't just "shipped", they are adopted. You successfully de-risk projects through discovery and UAT so that by the time a feature hits the market, it solves a verified customer pain point.
