About ABOMIS Innovations

ABOMIS is a Vancouver-based aviation technology company building modern, cloud-first software for airlines, airports, and ground handling companies worldwide.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Flutter Developer to join our growing product and engineering team and help build high-quality mobile applications used in real airport operations.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you will work closely with backend engineers and product stakeholders to develop, maintain, and release mobile applications across iOS and Android.

You won’t just write code — you’ll contribute to how our products perform in real-world, mission-critical scenarios.

What You’ll Do

Mobile Development

  • Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter and Dart
  • Write clean, scalable, production-ready code
  • Improve performance, responsiveness, and reliability

Release & Deployment

  • Manage builds and releases across App Store, Google Play, and TestFlight
  • Ensure smooth versioning, testing, and deployment

Integration & Collaboration

  • Integrate REST APIs with backend systems
  • Work with product and engineering teams to deliver features
  • Participate in code reviews and engineering practices

Debugging & Optimization

  • Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues
  • Improve stability in real operational environments

What We’re Looking For (Must Have)

  • 4+ years of hands-on Flutter experience
  • Strong knowledge of Flutter, Dart, and mobile development
  • Experience building scalable applications across platforms
  • Solid understanding of state management (Provider, Riverpod, BLoC, MVVM)
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
  • Strong Git and version control skills
  • Good UI/UX sense and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving ability

Nice to Have

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with Swift or native Android
  • Experience with camera/scanning technologies (e.g., ZXing)
  • Exposure to aviation or operational systems

What You’ll Gain

  • Ownership of real mobile products used in live operations
  • Experience in a global, mission-critical B2B environment
  • Close collaboration with product and leadership teams
  • Opportunity to shape mobile architecture and performance
  • Fast-paced environment focused on execution and quality

Interested? Send us:

  • Your resume
  • Links to apps you’ve built (App Store / Google Play)
  • A short note on your Flutter experience and why you’re a fit

Final Note

We value people who improve processes, not just follow them. Using generative AI and automation is part of the job. If you’re not actively exploring better ways to work, this role won’t be a fit.
