Key responsibilities

  • Monitor credit union developer accounts on Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console to identify and address issues.

  • Test, submit, and manage app updates through review and release processes to ensure apps are current and compliant.

  • Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and account requirements, and build reference guides to assist with recurring issues.

Job description

Description:

Sharetec is looking for a Mobile App Operations Associate to join our team!

At Sharetec, we believe in a people-first business. Our mission is to make millions of people's lives easier by developing innovative core banking and lending software solutions for credit unions and their members. Our customers rely on us for powerful financial technology that enhances operations across accounting, lending, member services, and online banking — and they count on us to be a caring, trusted partner in their success.

The Role

As a Mobile App Operations Associate, you'll help credit union partners keep their mobile banking apps compliant, current, and running smoothly. You'll own two connected responsibilities: keeping each credit union's Apple and Google developer accounts in good standing, and managing the app update lifecycle from testing through release.

You'll monitor developer accounts, guide credit unions through outstanding items step by step, test and submit app builds, respond to app store reviews, and keep every credit union's app on a consistent quarterly release schedule. Along the way, you'll build reference guides that help teammates and clients resolve recurring issues faster.

This is an entry-level role and a great fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable learning new tools and platforms. No prior professional experience is required — just a strong work ethic and a customer-first mindset.

Position Details

This is a full-time, exempt position. Candidates may work remotely from anywhere in the United States, with the exception of California. The starting salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 - plus bonus opportunity.

Who Will Love This Job

  • Someone who finds more satisfaction in making something better than building something new — and understands why that's harder
  • Someone who believes that technology serving people's financial lives is worth doing with real care and precision
  • Someone who is energized by a company in motion — where the roadmap is growing and your contributions shape the direction
  • Someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and finds satisfaction in keeping things running smoothly
  • Someone who enjoys learning new platforms and turning complex steps into clear, simple guidance
  • Someone who takes pride in following through, so that outstanding items are caught and resolved before they become problems

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Developer Account Monitoring & Management

  • Monitor credit union developer accounts on Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console to catch issues before they become problems
  • Provide proactive, ongoing account management so outstanding items are identified and addressed early
  • Give credit unions clear, detailed, step-by-step guidance for resolving outstanding Apple and Google account items (e.g., agreements, tax and banking information, certificates, and compliance requests)
  • Track open items through to resolution and follow up with credit union contacts as needed
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of account status across all credit union clients

App Update & Release Management

  • Run testing on app builds prior to submission to confirm they are ready for release
  • Submit builds to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for review
  • Monitor review status and respond to reviewer feedback or rejections
  • Release approved app versions to credit union members once builds pass review
  • Maintain an update schedule that ensures every credit union app is updated at least once per quarter
  • Communicate update timelines and status updates clearly to internal teams and credit union clients

Documentation & Process

  • Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and account requirements for common Apple/Google issues
  • Build and maintain reference guides to help credit unions and teammates resolve recurring issues faster
  • Escalate complex account or technical issues to the appropriate team when needed

Qualified Candidates Should Have

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • No prior professional experience required — this is an entry-level position
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple accounts and deadlines at once
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical steps to non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable learning new software platforms and tools
  • Customer-service mindset with a proactive, follow-through approach to problem-solving

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Apple App Store Connect or Google Play Console
  • Exposure to mobile app testing/QA processes
  • Experience using project or task-tracking tools
  • Interest in financial technology or credit union services
