Description

As our Assistant Property Manager (APM), you will be involved in all areas of property operations - sales & marketing, resident relations, maintenance, financial and leadership. Your positive interactions with residents will demonstrate our values daily and help create the high-touch community living experience that Dweck is known for. You will also use your acquired skills to maintain accurate accounts and a low delinquency rate, and promote resident retention. Under the leadership of the Property Manager, you will help maintain an efficient and motivated team. You will do "whatever it takes" from leasing apartments to resolving resident issues, to mentoring those on your dynamic team. This versatile role requires industry knowledge, but more importantly, it requires a heart for serving others and a passion for upholding excellence.


As an APM, you will:

  • achieve financial objectives through rent collections and by managing delinquency. You will also assist with bookkeeping and budget management.
  • lead sales & marketing initiatives with leasing team to conduct informative and personalized tours resulting in new leases. Work closely with the leasing team to motivate and drive success.
  • build brand loyalty by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive. Assist residents with renewals, concerns, and requests in a timely manner. Participate in resident events to build relationships.
  • collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor, team, vendors, and contractors to ensure maintenance needs and concerns are taken care of. Ensure community's interior and exterior are appealing presenting a crisp, professional appearance.
  • inspire and empower. Train new hires, coach, and mentor team to learn skills for career development. Make sure team is up to date with required trainings to uphold Dweck standards.
  • step in and take responsibility for leading when the Property Manager is not present.

Requirements

We're looking for:

  • Experience in an Assistant Property Manager or Senior Leasing Consultant role in multi-Family
  • Knowledge of Landlord/tenant, ADA, and fair housing laws
  • Yardi, Nexus or similar Property Management operational system experience
