Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement high-quality, scalable RESTful, GraphQL, or event-driven APIs, ensuring adherence to modern design principles and best practices.
• Manage and configure API gateways and management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management) in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement robust security measures including authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys), authorization, and encryption, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product Managers) to facilitate API deployment pipelines, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows, and automated testing.
• Monitor API performance, availability, and usage using analytics and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Splunk, ELK stack). Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance for scalability and reliability.
• Write clear, comprehensive API documentation using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI specifications and manage developer portals to ensure ease of use for internal and external developers.
