Job Title: Systems Software Programmer
Location: Tallahassee FL
Job Description:
The Systems Software Programmer will work full-time with Department staff to understand the intended business needs and technical requirements of tasks necessary to ensure deliverables are met and conform to Department standards. Reviews will occur through participation in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, design/development/testing meetings, technical documentation reviews, code reviews and/or testing.
Required Skills
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information
Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Programming, or another related
Information Technology field is required. Equivalent work experience may be used as an
alternative for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in translating functional specification into
technical specification from which programmers can construct the solution.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, and
maintaining applications and business intelligence with similar size and complexity.
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing and implementing customized Microsoft
.NET (Visual Studios 2019 or higher) applications using SQL Server database
(RDBMS).
• Minimum 7 years of experience with development and release management using
multiple code branches in Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Minimum 7 years of experience programming in C#, .Net, ASP.NET, Microsoft
Framework 4, HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, MS SQL Server, MVC, WCF, WEBAPI,
Entity Framework, nHibernate and latest Microsoft Technologies.
• Minimum 5 years of experience programming in C#, .NET Core (6.0+), ASP Identity
Core, Azure AD/B2C, BootStrap5, ReactJS, EF Core (6.0+), MVC 5, REST API,
WEBAPI.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience architecting and building highly scalable web
applications within Agile team environments.
• Minimum 7 years of Production experience utilizing modern frontend technologies,
specifically the React framework and utility-first design systems like Tailwind CSS.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and deploying robust, data-driven REST
API applications and underlying backend architectures.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools (such as
GitHub Copilot) to streamline development, optimize workflows, and accelerate
delivery lifecycles without compromising code quality.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the use of Google map API's and other
geocoding applications.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in workflow and routing.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in SSRS Reports, SSIS and GrapeCity Active Reports.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in developing WCF application server and implementing
Web API's.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in angularJS, jquery, json, Bootstrap and MVC.
• Minimum 7 years of experience programming imaging toolkit like
gdPicture (http://www.gdpicture.com).
• Minimum 7 years of experience with version control, branching, release management
and code management using TFS/Git.

integrity.
