Job Summary:
Quevera is a top employer in the Baltimore/DC area, seeking Python API Developers to design and deliver next-generation mission applications. The role involves building scalable APIs, integrating AI/ML capabilities, and deploying solutions in AWS cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and sustain scalable, secure Python-based APIs
• Integrate AI/ML models and pipelines into operational mission applications
• Deploy, optimize, and monitor solutions using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, data, and DevSecOps teams to ensure seamless system and application integration
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in alignment with Quevera engineering practices
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement within agile sprint cycles
Qualifications:
Required:
• MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role.
• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of Python in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST.
• Strong proficiency in Python with experience in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and scaling production APIs.
• Hands-on experience deploying, securing, and monitoring applications in AWS.
• Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models into production applications or services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative mindset.
