Location: Durham, North Carolina (Remote)
Rate: Max $60/hr
Role Overview
We are seeking a candidate to independently perform the analysis, design, and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. This role focuses on delivering high-availability and performance to meet customer needs. The position involves writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code to support complex IT solutions and collaborating with other IT specialists to deliver solutions that meet changing business needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform discovery and fact-finding to understand complex business problems and independently execute assignments.
  • Analyze and recommend solutions to development and production issues, communicating effectively with the project team.
  • Evaluate options and make solution buy-versus-build recommendations to management when requested.
  • Research and stay abreast of technology trends and IT best practices for continuous learning and application to the business.
  • Provide direction and assistance to less experienced team members.
  • Develop integrations with EHR/EMR systems like Epic.

Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree is required. In lieu of a degree, seven or more years of experience in a related field will be considered.
Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in a related field is required. Healthcare-specific experience is also necessary.
