Job description

The Associate provides direct clinical services under the supervision of a licensed clinician. This role includes assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and documentation. The Pre Licensed clinician supports individuals, couples, and families with a variety of mental health needs in compliance with state regulations and practice policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy.
  • Document sessions in the electronic health record (Simple Practice) in compliance with legal, ethical, and insurance requirements.
  • Administer and interpret clinical screenings and outcome measures.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality of care.
  • Maintain timely communication with clients, supervisors, and support staff.
  • Attend weekly supervision and required trainings.
  • Participate in case consultation, staff meetings, and quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Counseling Therapy or related field.
  • Registered as an AMFT/ASW/APCC with the California BBS and in good standing.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Competence in evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Ability to manage caseload, maintain timely documentation, and meet productivity expectations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and basic technology.
Requirements
  • Full-time schedule (typically 20-35 hours per week).
  • Must be under clinical supervision from our licensed LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and training.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $50.00 - $52.00 an hour with 4 hours a week for supervision/notes at an Admin Rate ($18.00 an hour)
  • Weekly clinical supervision twice a week at no cost.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance options. Employer offers $250.00 stipend towards.
  • Retirement plan with employer match.
  • $300 annual stipend for self elected trainings
  • 2 hours a month paid time for trainings of your choice
  • Paid Sick time and flexible scheduling
  • Marketing, intake scheduling, and administrative support provided.
