St Joseph's Memorial Hospital, a respected Level II trauma center, is seeking a dedicated pediatric hospitalist for a full-time role that offers both professional fulfillment and the chance to explore the vibrant local community.   • Responsibilities include:
    • Attendance at high-risk deliveries
    • Neonatal resuscitation
    • Well-baby rounding
    • 24-hour NICU coverage
    • Admission and management of all patients in a six-bed Level II NICU
    • ED consultations
    • Pediatric admissions appropriate to hospital capabilities and services (with transfer coordination for higher levels of care or specialty consultation as needed)
    • Co-management of pediatric orthopedic surgery admissions with Orthopedic Surgery serving as the consulting service and Pediatrics as the primary admitting team
    • Assistance with discharge planning and care coordination.
  • Streamlined transfer process through UCSF
  • Providence Medical Group providers are eligible for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
  • Compensation is between $294,000 to $310,800 per year.

The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, a CME allowance and other benefits offered by the medical group. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
