What is an AP Economics tutor?

AP Economics Tutors are educators who specialize in helping high school students prepare for Advanced Placement (AP) Economics courses and exams, such as AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics. They provide personalized instruction on economic concepts, test-taking strategies, and practice problems to help students understand the material and improve their exam performance. Tutors may work one-on-one or in small groups, either in person or online, to address individual learning needs and goals.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be an AP Economics tutor?

To thrive as an AP Economics Tutor, you need a deep understanding of microeconomics and macroeconomics, often supported by a relevant degree or AP exam success. Familiarity with digital teaching platforms, online resources like College Board materials, and assessment tools is typically required.
