Job Type: Part-time or PRN
Pay Rate: $21/hour plus shift differential

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Administer medications, as prescribed, and under the direction of a licensed nurse. Completes documentation of medication administration. 
  • Promptly report to the nurse, a residentโ€™s request/need for PRN medications. 
  • Promptly report to the nurse any adverse or concerning reactions to medications. 
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management and families. 
  • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures that falls under the scope of the Certified Medication Aide. 
  • Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming. 
  • Answers call lights in a timely manner and responds accordingly to the residentโ€™s needs. 
  • Any other duties as assigned or delegated by the Director of Care. 

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.   
  • Requires a Certified Medication Aide certificate from the Ohio Board of Nursing  
  • Completion of first aide training and CPR
