We're actively seeking a talented Annuity Marketing Strategist to fill an existing role on our Marketing Strategy Team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE.

As an Annuity Marketing Strategist, you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by driving the Consumer Markets Division's growth and long-term success. You will lead the development and go-to-market execution of strategic marketing initiatives that elevate our annuity product offerings.As a liaison between Product and cross-functionalMarketingteams, you will help shape compelling campaign strategies and apply data-driven insights to guide how we position our products in the marketplace. Your work will inform strategic direction, influence how we go-to-market, and strengthen relationships with the advisors and firms we serve. This position operates as an individual contributor within our team, exercising execution leadership and strategic judgment.


How you'll help move us forward:

  • Develop deep expertise in assigned channels and serve as the annuity product expert for Marketing by providing insights, guidance, and expertise that inform campaign strategies, positioning, and communications to ensure materials align withbusinessneeds.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy and execution of product launches and omnichannel marketing campaigns-including email, social, and web-to build awareness and adoption of annuity products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Marketing partners-including Creative Services, Marketing Operations, Digital Execution, and Campaign Management-to ensure campaigns, messaging, and initiatives align with business priorities.
  • Partner withinternal stakeholders toexecute campaigns and promotional opportunities andidentifyways to educate internal teams and support their marketing efforts.
  • Represent Marketing in strategic cross-functional meetings such as PMO by receiving updates on product or timing changes, advising on marketing impacts, and communicating key information back to the Marketing team for alignment.
  • Ensure annuity product materials are timely, compliant, and effectively distributed across relevant channels.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and field feedback to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies and product positioning that maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Examine performance of campaigns and initiatives, using data and feedback to refine strategies and optimize impact.
  • Proactively communicate with allinternal and externalstakeholders and teammates to ensure alignment, clarity, and transparency throughout projects and initiatives.
  • Inform dynamic digital tools and sales collateral that help financial professionals and clients understand complex retirement income strategies.
  • May performadditionalduties assigned.

The experience you bring:

  • 5+years of experience in product marketing within financial services; experience withan annuity or asset management firm is preferred.Financial services sales experience is valued.

  • Exhibit excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization, tailoring messages to effectively engage executives, peers, cross-functional partners, and team members.

  • Demonstrate experience developing marketing deliverables such as pitch decks, creative briefs, and email journey maps to support campaign strategy and execution.

  • Development of integrated marketing plans that build awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.

  • Communicate effectively, manage time well, and pay close attention to detail while handling multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.

  • Collaborate across teams anddemonstrateleadership to build strong working relationships.

  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and shifting timelines.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$113,490.00 - $138,710.00
