About the role

We are seeking a Technical Product Analyst to serve as the strategic link between business operations, product management, data, and technology. This role drives solutions that improveannuityproducts, operational efficiency, and customer experience across enterprise systems.You will partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, developers, QA engineers, architects, vendors, and data teams toidentifyopportunities, define product requirements, prioritize enhancements, and support end-to-end delivery of technology solutions throughout the annuity lifecycle.

This position requires deepannuityindustry knowledge combined with strong analytical and technical skills to translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements and measurable outcomes. You will evaluate and support data integrations across enterprise platforms, ensuringaccurateand efficient movement of information at every stage of the annuity lifecycle.

The ideal candidate understands both the operational and technical dimensions of annuity administration and proactivelyidentifiesopportunities to improve business processes,eliminateinefficiencies, and drive continuous product improvement. You willoperatewith a high degree of ownership and serve as a trusted partner to both business and technical teams while solving complex problems, championing data integrity, and delivering solutions that create lasting business value.

What you'll do
  • Translate business functional requirements into usable technical business requirements / user stories for projects in support of core organization functions for new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, members of IT, and end users to define technical business requirements and systems goals. Identify and resolve business systems issues.
  • Ensure compatibility and interoperability of applications.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
  • Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
  • Assist in testing for modified and new systems.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Develop business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, project business owners, SMEs, IT Development, QA, and vendors to determine project scope and define technical project requirements.
  • Recreate issues and document requirements for applications.
  • Facilitate meetings focused on technical requirements gathering, requirements walkthrough, test results and defect resolution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, computer engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more (5+ years) of Analyst experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
