Job Summary

The Retirement Protection Specialist / Annuity Sales Specialist plays a key role in helping clients safeguard their longterm financial wellbeing by offering annuity solutions within a Medicare-focused sales environment. This role blends proactive prospecting with ongoing relationship stewardship-ideal for someone who thrives on generating new business while nurturing an existing book of business.

The Specialist will educate customers on retirement income strategies, assess their financial protection needs, and guide them toward annuity products that complement their Medicare coverage and overall retirement planning.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Prospecting

  • Identify, engage, and convert new prospects through outbound outreach, community events, referral networks, partnerships, and Medicare-related lead sources.

  • Conduct needs assessments for Medicare-eligible individuals to uncover retirement income gaps and annuity opportunities.

  • Design and deliver compelling presentations explaining how annuity products enhance long-term financial protection.

  • Consistently achieve new business sales targets.

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage and grow an assigned client portfolio, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.

  • Provide regular policy reviews, retirement income check-ins, and follow-up guidance at key Medicare milestones.

  • Deepen relationships by identifying cross-sell opportunities aligned with clients' evolving financial goals.

  • Deliver high-quality service, addressing client questions, concerns, and plan changes in a consultative manner.

Product Expertise & Compliance
