To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Inspection & Repair Operator located in Salt Lake City, UT.

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the Inspection & Repair Operator role supports operations on unscheduled events, works closely to the Process Engineering Team on new projects, and documents daily tasks.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Calibration and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Time study and line balancing.
  • Installation and modification of workstations.
  • Create / modify work instructions.
  • Layout and tooling design.
  • Support new product introduction activities.
  • Leading improvement projects.
  • Monitoring, auditing and providing guidance to line operators.
  • Processing test runs and preparing records (breakdown events, scrap, etc.), charts, and graphs of results for presentations to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
  • Providing technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
  • Line change configuration.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (electronic components is preferred)
  • Electro-mechanical knowledge, electrical schematics, mechanical drawing and dimensional annotation comprehension.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software.
  • Able to work with and communicate cross functionally with operations, quality and other departments.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
