The Merrimack Middle School is looking to hire a dynamic Technology Education Teacher to join our team. Our Technology Education Teaching positions focus on S-T-E-A-M and integrating our hands on projects/explorations with all of the core class content. Among the many projects we do with 7th and 8th grade students: Create a photo poster, stop motion animation, building multiple layer paper towers that can hold 30-50 lbs, balsa stick bridges that can hold 20-50 lbs with the lowest mass efficiency, slime [from a scientific perspective], Zentangle-ish and mandala designs, Light-up greeting cards [teaching basics of electricity], origami boxes [deconstruct and construct], marble run, string art [learning to measure!], paint and water as a science experiment, marble jump dynamics, egg drops, racing dragsters, etc. So many avenues to explore and so little time! Come join the fun!
