Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. This is a hybrid position working in-office on Monday's and Wednesday's.

Pay: $33.00 - $50.00/hr. Depending on prior related working experience.


This is a hybrid position with frequent in-office days required. Applicants must be reside within a reasonable commute to the Canyon View Credit Union Financial Center in West Jordan, UT. 


Your Purpose will be:


The person in this position will perform still and motion multimedia design in all visual areas for print, digital, photography, and video. The Multimedia Design Specialist will support the Marketing Department in all creative areas as needed including multimedia art and design for all marketing channels and providing clear creative input on all campaign creative and visual brand elements. They will be a brand steward and provide key input on internal and external brand identity which may include fulfilling design, photography, and video campaigns to ensure they meet brand guidelines and quality expectations. They will create and provide creative input for print, TV commercials and other video, animation, photography, and other design mediums. What you'll do:

  • Responsible for graphic/multimedia design both externally and internally; creating and/or influencing projects that could include branding and logo development, print, media and online design, and design replication
  • Collaborating closely with content, product development, and leadership teams to translate business goals into compelling creative executions
  • Conceptualizing and progressing full-funnel campaigns (rather than simply fulfilling design requests)
  • Capturing original photography for locations, events, and branded storytelling
  • Manage photo libraries and ensure consistency with visual standards
  • Upkeeping brand library both in file structure and Adobe library; organize, save, and back up all design and publication files
  • Create, produce, and edit branded radio advertisements
  • Work with voiceover artists or AI voiceovers, mixing music and effects to create polished audio content
  • Shared responsibility to ensure brand and industry compliance
  • Maintain positive communication with team and management and attend meetings
  • Represent Canyon View Credit Union as appropriate and as requested 
  • Understand the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied

Core Design Requirements

  • Demonstrates mastery of design fundamentals, including typography, kerning, leading, hierarchy, composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop) with strong working knowledge of motion and video-related tools
  • Comfortability shooting still and video with a DSLR camera 
  • Understands the difference between creating visually appealing work and building strategically effective marketing communications
  • Serves as a guardian of the brand, ensuring consistency while thoughtfully evolving the visual identity over time.
  • Understands when to work within established brand standards and when to push creative boundaries to drive differentiation
  • Possesses strong creative-direction capabilities and can guide concepts from initial briefing through final execution

Requirements

The experience you need to succeed:

  • Two to four years of similar or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and some Photoshop and After Effects

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Works primarily in a hybrid office environment, with occasional trips into field environment locations. This includes but is not limited to various outdoor and indoor climates, public venues, and driving conditions. (Hybrid or work from home employees must be able to report in office if required.)
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, grasp and reach. A computer, phone (possibly including a smart phone), and standard office equipment are normal tools for this position.
