Position Overview
This is a perpetual vacancy announcement that is filled based on need only. All applications are kept on file for when a need arises. Only when a need arises will applicants be contacted.
The College of Fine Arts is seeking qualified candidates to teach as part-time resource faculty. Availability will depend on the needs of the university each semester: therefore, you may not be contacted immediately. Credentials will remain on file for 1 year from the date application is submitted. At that time, current applicants will be asked to re-apply. We teach in the following primary disciplines:
Visual art and graphic design
Communication, broadcasting, journalism, and public relations
Music, music performance and music education
Theatre, digital filmmaking, and dance
Requirements
Minimum requirements for most subject areas include a master's degree in the discipline and/or a master's degree with 18 hours in related discipline. College level teaching experience and/or terminal degree desired. Salary based on degree and experience, paid on credit hour basis.
Working Conditions
Adjunct faculty positions are part time temporary assignments that are based on the needs of the university.
