General Description:
Continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and creative Instructional Designer to join our Global Learning & Development team. The duties and responsibilities of this position include: designing and developing highly interactive and task-based sales and technical training programs using multiple media and blended approaches (eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, job aids, animated videos); developing learning objectives that align to strategic priorities and critical on-the-job skills; building collaborative and consultative relationships with subject matter experts, clients and peers; defining and documenting learning needs assessment, data analysis and recommended learning strategies; using raw content provided by subject matter experts to write scripts, storyboards and design documents; and creating assessments that align to course objectives. Must have strong writing, communication and visual storytelling skills. The Instructional Designer will be expected to: · (30%) Design and develop online learning programs and assets aligned with global training strategy, regional needs and product launch support. · (30%) Design and develop traditional classroom training workshops, including supporting materials (e.g., guides, PowerPoint presentations, checklists, evaluations) for facilitators and participants. · (10%) Work with subject matter experts and other stakeholders from various disciplines to refine source material and institutional knowledge into performance-focused training.

  • Parameter Description · (10%) Develop digital assets to support training (e.g., PowerPoint slides, course illustrations or other graphic assets).
  • (10%) Update existing training content to include recurring product and software enhancements and/or process changes.
  • (5%) Test final content that is deployed to 's Learning Management System (Grow/Knowledge Center) and other delivery mechanisms.
  • (5%) Present to and solicit feedback from subject matter experts and project stakeholders.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned (Last bullet required in North America).

  • The Individual Required Skills: Minimum of bachelor's degree in instructional design, distance learning, adult education, educational technology or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 3+ years of experience demonstrating the following skills in a professional capacity: - Designing complex, instructionally sound training programs for multiple delivery methods (e.g., virtual classroom, eLearning, social/mobile learning, micro-learning, video-based learning).
  • Applying adult learning theories and instructional design principles and models, including conducting needs analysis, writing instructional objectives, recommending appropriate instructional strategies, creating blended learning solutions, and integrating measurement standards). - Proficiency with eLearning development tools, such as Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise), Camtasia, Vyond, and Captivate. - Proficiency with visual design/graphic design tools, especially Adobe Creative Suite applications (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Experience in infographic design a plus. - Writing effective copy, instructional text and audio/video/animation scripts.
  • Parameter Description - Familiarity with video and audio editing tools, voiceover recording and AI-based voiceover generation tools. - Applying a strong design sense as demonstrated both in print materials and online learning examples. - Working closely with a team. - Managing projects independently from analysis through evaluation. - Ability to take and implement feedback and constructive criticism. - Demonstrating a strong attention to detail. A portfolio of prior work will be required for consideration.
