Job description

The Department of Film and Digital Arts within the College of Fine Arts anticipates that there may be a need to hire Adjunct Faculty to teach in-person courses in the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters. Openings potentially include the following subjects:
Video Production, Producing, Digital Post Production, Visual Effects, Animation, Screenwriting, Cinematography, Directing, Editing, Film History, Introduction to Film Studies, Game Design or Development, and other film and digital arts related production topics, or film history and criticism topics. 
Positions are contingent upon need each semester as determined by student enrollment levels, current course offering matrix, and demand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to drop or add courses. Candidates who are selected for these positions will report to the Department Chair.

Wages
Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Film and Digital Arts are compensated on the basis of credit-hour course loads. As of March 2025, a three-credit course will be compensated at 5,005.19.
