Job description

WHO WE ARE:
Buchwald was launched by Don Buchwald in 1977. Today, with offices in New York and Los Angeles, we are an industry leader in talent representation.

Built on the cornerstone of our commercial and broadcast departments, our full-service agency offers representation in every area of the entertainment industry: commercial, broadcast, film, theatre, television, literary, feature film packaging, personal appearance, syndication (radio, television and digital), unscripted, branding/digital, and emerging talent.

With over forty-five years of experience, we have mastered the art of representation with dedication, perseverance, determination, and passion.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Buchwald is looking to hire a highly motivated Assistant to the Director of Animation in the NY office. The ideal candidate should have a true passion for and interest in the areas of animation, video games, scripted podcasts, and audiobooks. This is an entry-level position that requires initiative while learning on the job. Interest in becoming a talent agent is essential.

Candidates need to be organized, team players, proactive, ambitious, detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and have strong administrative skills. As this team works with many agents and assistants bicoastally, candidates must be a quick learner and open communicator. The most successful assistants can multi-task, think on their feet, and have a naturally good ear and eye for talent.

This opportunity is in-person, in our New York office.
