Job description

ACLC, LLC is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Graphic Artist to support a contract with the US Air Force (USAF). All duties must be performed on-site in Government facilities at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.
This is a full-time, on-site position, which requires a Secret clearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able work with a team to author and modify graphics for training courses through an instructional design and development process to create, draft and deliver required graphics files.
  • Ability to think creatively and perform with flexibility
  • Ability to work with a team of developers to bring their images to life
  • Ability to work with a team to bring a high level of interactivity to the courses
  • Able to communicate effectively with clients, subject matter experts, and other team members both verbally and in writing
  • Able to perform multiple responsibilities, step into new roles when necessary, and overcome obstacles under a deadline
  • Adjusts and improves the appearance of animations by altering facets such as light, color, shadow, or transparency
  • Collaborates with other animators, artists, and others to create complete productions
  • Design and produce from concepts to implementation
  • Develops animation concept by studying text, layouts, sketches of proposed animations, specifications, and related materials
  • Develops or reviews storyboards or concepts to determine how to best interpret them with multimedia; devises specific movements and stylistic imagery to match characters
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of images; resolving issues of arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
  • Keeps team informed by discussing multimedia at various stages of completion; making changes; re-defining concepts and techniques
  • Participate in the user interface design, recommending and applying user interface principles to information architecture, content organization, page flows, interaction design, and navigation schemes
  • Prepares initial model by constructing successive animations, including actions, changes, color patterns, and background to portray the desired effect; obtaining confirmation of model
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
  • Produce storyboards, wireframes, design prototypes, design specifications, and creative mock-ups

Qualifications:
  • Must have significant experience with:
    • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Audition and Premier)
    • Blender
    • DaVinci Resolve
    • Windows and MAC OS
  • Familiarity with gaming engines and flight simulator models
