Job Overview

Student position - 15hrs per week - Weekend schedule 

As an Animal Care Clerk for our Husbandry facility located in St-Constant, you will be responsible for the well-being of our laboratory animals. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals. 

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the living environment of the animals according to the highest standards of welfare in the industry (clean the animal rooms and the cages);
  • Handle animals with care;
  • Participate in the physical/social activities of the animals.

If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you in the rest: 

  • At least have completed Secondary 4; 
  • Able to work physically (lift up to 20-25 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.);
  • Have a good team spirit;
  • Passion for animals.


Role Specific Information:

  • Location: 324 Rang St-Regis Nord, St-Constant, QC, J5A 2E7;
  • Transport: Free parking;
  • Salary: $18/hrs;
  • Schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday between 6:00 am to 2:15 pm;
  • Part-time position, 15 hours per week - 40hrs per week for summer period.
