Animal Care Attendant – Full Time
Community Animal Inn & Spa | Shrewsbury, MA

Community Animal Inn & Spa is a busy and growing boarding and daycare facility located underneath Community Animal Hospital, which provides a wide range of veterinary services to our community. We are seeking a Full-Time Animal Care Attendant to join our dedicated team immediately.

What You’ll Do:
As an Animal Care Attendant, you’ll be an essential part of our clients’ pets’ well-being. Your role will include:

  • Providing daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, cleaning, exercise, and enrichment.

  • Monitoring pets’ health and behavior and promptly reporting concerns to supervisors.

  • Ensuring safe, clean, and comfortable housing areas for all boarding and daycare pets.

  • Interacting with clients in a friendly, professional manner to ensure excellent customer service.

  • Assisting with daycare playgroups and maintaining a safe and positive environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with animals.

  • Familiarity with common pet care techniques.

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Must be 18 years or older and available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be available year-round.

  • A positive, motivated, and compassionate approach to animal care.
