Job Description

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Safely restrain and handle pets during exams and treatments.
  • Assist with patient care, including feeding, walking, cleaning, and monitoring hospitalized and boarding pets.
  • Prepare exam rooms, surgical patients, and equipment.
  • Collect basic lab samples, assist with diagnostic imaging, and administer treatments as directed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe hospital environment and provide excellent client service.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and work around loud noises, strong odors, animal waste, and animals that may bite or scratch.

Qualifications

We're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Technician, or in an animal care setting preferred.
  • Compassionate, dependable, team-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable safely handling and restraining pets of all sizes.
  • Experience with patient care, cleaning and maintaining kennels, collecting basic lab samples, or assisting with treatments is a plus.
  • Eager to learn, grow, and provide exceptional care for patients and clients.
