Job description

Airport West Animal Clinic in Yakima, WA is looking for an experienced veterinary assistant or licensed technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a team player, punctual, and works well in a fast paced environment. Our clinic is busy and our doctors work quickly. We are looking for a full or part-time employee.


Responsibilities

  • Communicating with clients
  • Cashier (if needed)
  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Assisting doctors with appointments
  • Animal boarding/husbandry duties
  • Restraint of animals (cats, dogs, exotics)
  • Obtaining vitals
  • Maintaining medical records
  • Invoicing
  • Cleaning surgical instruments, packs, gowns
  • Maintenance of equipment
  • End of day closing duties

**Wage will be dependent on experience/qualifications

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shifts, 5 hour shifts
