Job description

ARF rescues, cares for, and finds adopters for over 100 dogs and cats a year and engages in community outreach and humane education. We are staffed mostly by volunteers. Join our mission by staffing the front desk at the Shelter. You will work mostly indoors answering phone calls, greeting citizens with appointments, making follow-up phone calls, preparing paperwork, and copying. We will train you on our mission, important information, and processes. Shifts needed include 8 am to noon, and noon to 4 pm, Monday thru Friday. Weekends from 10 am to 1 pm. We like volunteers to commit to a set schedule, but you don't need to cover all the shifts - we can divide the times during the week among several volunteers.
