This role is essential in agriculture, conservation, and veterinary medicine to ensure animal populations remain healthy and sustainable.

What does a typical day look like for someone working in animal reproduction?

Professionals in animal reproduction often split their time between hands-on tasks such as performing artificial inseminations, monitoring animal reproductive cycles, and conducting laboratory tests. They may also spend part of their day consulting with farmers, breeders, or veterinarians to develop reproductive management plans and provide guidance on improving breeding efficiency. Depending on the workplace, you might collaborate closely with a team of technicians, veterinarians, and animal caretakers, and travel to different locations may be required.
