About the Role:

The Warehouse Shift Supervisor plays a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers. The successful candidate for this position should be a leader who motivates their shift to be a winning team. The successful candidate needs to take pride in their team, set goals, and inspire their team to reach these goals. The shift supervisor leads warehouse team members in safely and efficiently fulfilling orders for customers, ensuring that the order is shipped accurately and on time. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • You will work within our WMS to complete customer orders in the proper time frame
  • You will communicate regularly with customer service regarding updates to orders
  • You are responsible for warehouse team member performance
  • You assist with process improvements 
  • You own safety on your shift
  • You will perform team member evaluations at various times during the year
  • You will have the responsibility to manage the labor cost for your operation
  • You are happy to work one hour prior to the start of your shift and about 20 minutes following to ensure proper shift transition

The Right Candidate:

  • High School Diploma required, a college degree is a plus
  • Must be comfortable setting goals and discussing performance with associates
  • Evidence of analytical reasoning and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide 
  • Must be flexible to attend occasional meetings before the shift
  • An ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of warehouse experience 
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with a WMS system is helpful
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • RF scanner experience (preferred)
