What You'll Be Doing:
As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll be a vital part of our team, helping ensure that every client and patient receives the exceptional care they deserve. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Welcoming and registering clients and patients
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Assisting during exams and procedures
  • Observing and reporting on patient behavior and condition
  • Supporting lab test setups and managing patient files
  • Feeding, walking, and monitoring patients
  • Taking vital signs and prepping for treatment
  • Keeping the facility clean, organized, and well-stocked

What We're Looking For:
  • 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine
  • Comfortable with IV catheter placement and phlebotomy
  • Comfortable with anesthesia
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Customer service experience + basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Preferred: Veterinary Assistant diploma or program completion
  • Comfort with basic restraint techniques for dogs and cats
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work
  • Ability to work 5 days per week (8 hour shifts) with weekend availability
