Licensed Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
Catlett, VA | Large and Small Animal | Full-time or Part-time
Catlett Animal Hospital is seeking a Large and Small Animal Licensed Veterinary Technician to support our 3-Doctor practice. Our full-time technicians work 35-40 hours per week. This position may be full-time or part-time, with full-time technicians typically working 35-40 hours per week. We are happy to provide training and mentorship for technicians or assistants without prior experience-if you're interested in mixed animal medicine, we want to help you grow!
At Catlett Animal Hospital, we work with a wide variety of species including horses, cattle, pigs, small ruminants, camelids, chickens, dogs, and cats. This role includes work both in-hospital and on the road with our ambulatory veterinarians. Responsibilities may include preparing appointments, driving and restocking the truck, and safely restraining both large and small animals.
We are a mixed animal practice dedicated to high-quality patient care and excellent client service. Our doctors enjoy surgery and offer a wide range of procedures, along with alternative therapies such as acupuncture, PRP injections, and laser therapy. Our approach blends traditional medicine with a homeopathic flair. Our large animal team serves multiple counties including Fauquier, Prince William, Culpeper, and Stafford.
We truly value our technicians and utilize them to their fullest potential, offering LVT appointments, exposure to a wide range of surgeries, and ongoing mentorship and skill development.
