Job description

Material Handlers - Join a Team That Keeps Pets Fed and Happy!

Are you someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and making an impact every day? If you're looking for a full-time opportunity with a stable, growing company that values its employees, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies wants to hear from you!

As a Material Handler, you'll play a key role in our warehouse operations by selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. You'll work in a clean, safety-focused environment where teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail help ensure pet stores and animal care organizations receive the products they need.

Current Openings

1st Shift (Pay: $19.00/hour)

  • Monday-Thursday
  • 8:00 am - 6:30 pm

What You'll Do

  • Use an order selector to pick bulk bag and full-case customer orders throughout our distribution center.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including order pickers and pallet jacks.
  • Build pallets accurately and efficiently for outbound shipments.
  • Transport completed pallets to the loading dock for truck loading.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety by following all company policies and PPE requirements.
  • Participate in safety programs and proactively identify and communicate potential hazards.
  • Support warehouse operations with additional duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, or cherry pickers is a plus.
  • Ability to pass a 5-year background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
