Animal Biology - Adjunct Faculty
SUMMARY
The Department of Biology is seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Principles of Animal Nutrition and/or Vertebrate Zoology on campus in Spring Arbor, Michigan. Instructors are also needed for the labs connected to the courses.

The successful candidate will be able to articulate how they would seek to integrate the Christian faith into their discipline and will be someone who enjoys working with students and other faculty. The individual will exhibit a life and service that is in full accord with the Spring Arbor University Concept, Statement of Faith, and Community Covenant. Applicants must be thoroughly supportive of the University’s mission and values as an evangelical Christian University affiliated with the Free Methodist Church.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in Biology, Zoology, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or other closely related discipline is required, with a doctorate degree preferred. Completion of at least 18 graduate credit hours in biological sciences or related to the subject area is strongly preferred. Successful college-level teaching experience is desired.

Experience working in multicultural academic environments is preferred. Individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
