Job description


Aramark is hiring a Groundskeeping Supervisor in Williamsburg, VA to lead daily landscaping and grounds maintenance operations at a high-visibility Anheuser-Busch facility. This is a working supervisor role where you will both manage a team and perform hands-on tasks like mowing, trimming, and maintaining equipment. You'll oversee groundskeepers, assign daily work, and ensure outdoor areas are clean, safe, and well-kept. The schedule is a consistent morning shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), and the work is fully outdoors in a busy, public-facing environment. Candidates should be comfortable using landscaping equipment and leading a crew in a fast-paced setting. This role is ideal for experienced groundskeepers, landscapers, or maintenance professionals looking to step into a leadership role.
Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $18.00 to $20.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
• Supervises the maintenance and improvements to facility grounds and may also be assigned operational tasks such as mowing, weeding and snow removal as needed
• Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to groundskeeping teams and supervises the completion of tasks according to established sustainability guidelines
• Responsible for the training of groundskeeping workers and lead workers
• Maintains client expectations as it relates to compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal statutes as well as contract requirements.
• Inspects and tours acreage to identify areas for maintenance improvement or landscape upgrades.
• May be responsible for order placement and inventory management
• May perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment and tools as needed
• May be required to operate trucks, tractors and attachments used to maintain grounds as needed

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or lawn maintenance (e.g., commercial crews, country clubs, HOAs, municipalities, or large facilities)
  • Non-commercial driver's license required
  • Previous supervisory or lead grounds crew experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of groundskeeping principles and power landscape equipment
  • Work involves exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization as well as external vendors and contractors

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
