Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Angular Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications supporting client and customer engagement platforms. This role demonstrates proficiency in all areas of front-end engineering with advanced, in-depth specialization in the Angular ecosystem. You will play a critical role in shaping front-end architecture, improving application performance, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, accessible, and secure user experiences used by millions of patients, pharmacists, and customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams - product, design, QE, and back-end engineering - and mentor less experienced engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of software engineering experience, at least 7 years of software engineering experience.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience building enterprise applications with Angular (v12 or later), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS.
Strong experience with RxJS, state management (NgRx or similar), and component-driven architecture.
Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs and working with microservices-based back ends.
Experience with unit testing frameworks and front-end test automation.
Experience with Git-based source control, code reviews, and Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of software engineering best practices including coding standards, build processes, testing, and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps (ADO) for boards, repos, and pipelines.
Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, retail, or other regulated, high-volume consumer domains.
Experience with micro-frontend architecture, module federation, or Nx monorepos.
Familiarity with Node.js, Java/Spring Boot back ends, or BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) patterns.
