Description
Anesthesiologist Opportunity (Independent Contractor, 1099) at Kaiser Permanente Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center in Central Valley, CA. Kaiser Permanente has well-established anesthesia teams across Modesto, Manteca, and Stockton Medical Centers in California's Central Valley. These facilities are part of one of the nation's leading integrated health systems, known for high-quality, coordinated care and efficient clinical operations. This 1099 opportunity offers a unique combination of flexibility, autonomy, and consistent case volume across both hospital and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) settings. Physicians benefit from a collaborative care team model, strong perioperative support, and streamlined OR workflows that allow you to focus on patient care-not administrative burden. Providers will work across a diverse case mix, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB, urology, ENT, vascular, and outpatient procedures. Kaiser's Central Valley locations are known for their predictable schedules, high case throughput, and supportive clinical environment. Located in Modesto, Manteca, and Stockton.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients

• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
