Job description

NAPA, the largest anesthesia provider in the country, is expanding its partnership with HCA Methodist Healthcare system in San Antonio, TX, and is seeking an Anesthesiologist for Methodist Texsan Hospital. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures. Join a dynamic team in a 120-bed facility equipped with advanced medical services.

Practice Info

  • Methodist Texsan Hospital is a 120-bed facility
  • Facility includes a Full-Service Emergency Department, 4 operating rooms, 4 cardiac catheterization labs, a 24-hour cardiovascular emergency department, and a rooftop helicopter pad
  • Case assignments include Cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, electrophysiology, ECT and general cases

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

  • Per Diem/1099 Hourly Rate: $325

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
  • BE or BC
  • Current medical licensure
  • ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
