Position Tittle: Android Developer
Location: New York, NY (Onsite)

Job Details:
 
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Android mobile applications using Kotlin and Java.
Develop Android application components using architectural patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and/or MVI.
Build secure mobile application functionality, including biometric authentication, encryption, certificate pinning, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
Integrate Android applications with backend services using REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and other real-time data integrations.
Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and UI tests using tools such as JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, and Robolectric.
Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, API integration problems, and production defects across Android applications.
Configure and support automated build, testing, and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines.
Manage Android application releases through the Google Play Console, including application signing, staged rollouts, version management, and production releases.
Use Git-based version control platforms, including GitHub, GitLab, and/or Bitbucket, for source-code management and collaboration.
Collaborate with product, design, backend engineering, QA, security, and other technology teams to develop and deliver Android application features.
Participate in code reviews, testing, defect resolution, release activities, and ongoing application maintenance.
Apply mobile application security, coding, testing, and release-management practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
 
Basic Qualifications:
 
Minimum 5+ years of professional Android application development experience.

5+ years of Experience implementing mobile application security capabilities including biometric authentication, encryption, certificate pinning, OAuth 2.0, and/or OpenID Connect.
5+ years of Experience developing automated tests using JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, and/or Robolectric.
5+ years of Experience configuring or supporting automated build and deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes for Android applications.
5+ years of Experience integrating Android applications with REST APIs, GraphQL, and real-time data services using WebSockets.
5+ years of Experience using the Google Play Console, including application signing, staged rollouts, release management, and application publishing.
Proficiency with Git-based version control, including GitHub, GitLab, and/or Bitbucket.
