Job Description SALARY RANGE $147,000 - $204,000/year DUTIES As a successful candidate for the Reverse Engineer III role, you will perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, in order to ascertain functionality, capability, call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise. Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation. Required Skills QUALIFICATIONS • Proficient in analyzing malicious binaries and performing static analysis of assembly code • Familiar with indicators of compromise (IOCs) and advanced persistent threat (APT) analysis • Experienced in malware detection and signature creation using YARA and SNORT • Skilled in identifying areas of risk within target environments and developing mitigation strategies • Knowledgeable in C++, computer networking, and assembly language • Experienced with reverse engineering tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) A Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience, a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience is required. An associate's degree with 10 years may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Bachelor's Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Relevant experience must be in malware reverse engineering. CERTIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES CISSP, GIAC GREM, or CREA Certification is required.
