Job Summary:
Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking an Android Developer for a potential contract-to-hire position. The role involves developing automation scripts, designing and prototyping Android mobile applications, and collaborating with product teams on new ideas and improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Develop automation scripts, test, and release to the app store.
• Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates.
• Drive best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
• Design, develop, and prototype Android mobile applications for phone and tablets for internal and external use.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5-7 years of experience in Android Platforms - Development using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Development experience in Core Java.
• Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium.
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI, and extensive knowledge of XCode.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket.
Preferred:
• Experience with continuous integration & Unit tests.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera APIs, etc.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
