Android Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Local candidates preferred)

Interview Mode: Face-to-Face

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $60/hr


About the Role

Bitra Inc. is looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role requires a strong background in native Android application development, along with familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices
  • Stay current with the latest Android development trends and tools, including AI-assisted development platforms

Required Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of professional experience in Android application development
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
  • Solid understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and design patterns
  • Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
