Role Overview
We are seeking an Android Developer to create and enhance customer-facing digital experiences. The role involves developing Android solutions that align with product strategy and adhere to engineering best practices. You will partner with cross-functional teams including Software Engineers, UX/UI designers, and Product Owners to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Android solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines, and principles.
  • Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high-performing, quality customer experiences.
  • Actively engage with developers across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.).
  • Own delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and Architects.
  • Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams.
  • Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Kotlin and other language idioms.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience building Android applications.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin.
  • Experience with unit testing (such as JUnit) and UI testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with AI tools and integrating AI-assisted workflows.
  • Experience with open source frameworks and automated test tooling.
