Job description

Role: Senior .NET Developer (Xamarin & MAUI)

Location: Austin, TX 78752. The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework.

Duration: 3 Months

Summary:

The Worker will be expected to lead the transition of the TXMAP codebase, which is currently built on the .NET Xamarin platform, to .NET MAUI, enabling the Department’s TXMAP iOS and Android mobile apps to continue functioning.

Migrate the TXMAP mobile application from the discontinued Microsoft Xamarin platform to the new Microsoft .Net Multi-platform App UI (MAUI) framework.

Required Skills:

8 years of Required Experience with the .Net platform

8 years of Required Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio

1 year of Required Experience with mobile development for Android and Apple mobile devices

Preferred Skills:

5 years of Preferred Atlassian Tool Suite, mainly JIRA

2 years of Preferred Experience migrating mobile applications from Microsoft Xamarin to .Net Multi-platform App UI (MAUI)

2 years of Preferred Experience with State of Texas applications
