Job description

Prime Video is changing the way people watch movies, TV shows, and IP adaptations, and is now available in more than 200 countries. Amazon Studios is a movie and series production company. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Coordinator to support the Global IP & Literary Acquisition team, based in the US.

The successful candidate will be able to effectively multi-task; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround; and efficiently and creatively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the group or other related groups.
Key job responsibilities
Works directly with and assists IP & Literary Acquisitions executives.
Supports in managing IP submissions, scouting, library management, and upkeep of records and logs.
Provides notes on reviewed IP, tracks, and supports coordination with internal departments and executives (Movies & TV creative; business affairs; legal; strategy teams), and the external media rights community


Builds and maintains all department tracking systems, databases, and oversees powerpoint presentation compilation.
Conducts research and maintains general working knowledge across Books, Video Games, Content Creators, Toys/Brands, Podcasts, and other IP Types, and upcoming trends.
Shadowing and support of IP Executives.

Amazon Studios' Global IP & Literary Acquisitions team oversees IP sourcing and acquisitions, analysis, and library management across the whole of Amazon MGM Studios

Working cross-functionally, the team impacts theatrical and streaming movie slates, and all tv formats and genres including animation, world building, drama, comedy, and YA slates worldwide.
