Position Summary
Job Summary:
The Anatomic Pathology Manager is responsible for the operational management of all assigned areas within the laboratory. The manager ensures that services are the highest quality, are cost-effective, and are performed in an effort to share information and accomplish goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree w/Certification based on AP Specialty, or equivalent certification with 4 years of demonstrated ability to supervise and or perform administrative/management functions or Master's Degree, or equivalent certification, and 2 years demonstrated ability to supervise and/or perform administrative/management functions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Communication Skills
  • Computer skills to include relevant systems used in the lab and the hospital
  • Understanding of Lab and Hospital budgeting systems
  • Understanding of the Lean Process and Principles
