The CMX1 internship program will be a 9-week program covering June through July of 2026 with the majority of the work being fully remote or in office in Lawrence, KS. The program includes a balance between on-the-job learning, project-based opportunities, professional development, leadership exposure, and social/networking events throughout the summer. Interns will have the opportunity to have hands-on experience within our software development, internal IT, or cyber security teams and will work together on a project that they will present at the end of the internship.
Requirements
• Rising Junior or Senior with a major in Computer Science, Software
Engineering, or a related field.
• History of academic success
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide
variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and have high attention to detail and
problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance individual and team effort in collaborative processes
while meeting deadlines.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
