The Senior Manager, Fulfillment Automation & Optimization is responsible for developing and executing strategic vision for ecommerce operation to drive process and capacity improvement, growth and scalability via automation, structural and systemic enhancements. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in implementing process improvement initiatives. This role will be responsible for the execution of the company's capital and supply chain strategy for conveyable operation through the design, implementation, and maintenance of best-in-class solutions to enable world class quality and delivery to our customers. The successful candidate will collaborate with peer leadership groups within the organization as part of a cohesive strategy supporting the overall company goals.

A day in the life as a Senior Manager, Fulfillment Automation & Optimization...

  • Develop and execute eCommerce facility automation roadmap, process and continuous improvement

  • Improve distribution center processes by applying industry leading technologies, equipment, and material handling solutions

  • Develop business case analyses and financial models to support project solutions by demonstrating an ability to gather and interpret complex data

  • Develop and implement effective labor planning strategies to optimize workforce utilization and minimize labor costs

  • Define and document best practices in Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs)

  • Serve as primary point of contact for the training, implementation, & maintenance of Labor Management System

  • Identify, analyze, and implement process enhancements to eliminate waste and improve productivity

  • Ability to present concepts behind engineered solutions, implications of financial data, and define key measures of success

  • Proficiency in warehouse management, labor management systems, and warehouse automation

  • Excellent business, financial acumen, and interpersonal skills

We'd love to hear from you if you have...

  • A minimum of 7 years of previous experience in the engineering field. Preferred experience in distribution, warehousing, supply chain, or manufacturing

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Background in Lean and 6Sigma methodologies (Green/Black Belt certification is a plus)

  • AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, preferred

  • Working knowledge of industrial facility design
