If you are an Engineering professional, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Emerson is seeking a Inside Sales Manager (Analytical Instruments) at our Shakopee, MN location (based on-site). As a Inside Sales Manager (Analytical Instruments), you will ensure best-in-class customer support and sales generation for Rosemount products by leading the Analytical Inside Sales team.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Providing leadership to the NA Analytical Instruments Customer Care team (L&C and F&G) to meet stated Sales goals for the group. This includes providing tools and coaching for incremental sales growth, facilitating effective communication between the Inside and Outside sales force, and partnering with NA Sales and Marketing on Sales programs for the year.
  • As an active member of the Analytical Instruments leadership team, providing voice of customer and voice of sales team for lead time expectations, lead time escalations, strategic business priorities, etc.
  • Leading Global Customer Care activities for the L&C and F&G businesses.
  • Supporting a team responsible for Global Demand, both Interco and Trade, on the Mexicali factory including the assistance of analyzing key KPIs for Service Level, Finished Goods, and Sales through close interactions with the Mexicali factory.
  • Working with Product Management teams to develop go-to-market plans, positioning strategies, and sales enablement materials.
  • Developing processes for the effective delivery of customer support.
  • Assuring accurate and timely response to both NA and World Area field sales and customers regarding orders, quotations, and other customer related activities.
  • Promoting effective selling behaviors and ensures the development of customer relations
  • Organizing workloads, developing strategies, and implementing plans to support both the customer's needs and Emerson's objectives.
  • Passionate about creating a successful team environment through team building and individual development and recognition.

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technical field
  • Minimum of eight (8) years experience in a related field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven business insight, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience managing direct reports required
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
