Swan Analytical USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The Field Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning and performance of our analytical instruments at customer sites. As a Swan Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our instruments, as well as competitors, providing outstanding technical support to our valued customers. This role will require up to 100% Travel (Mon-Fri only).


Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Commissioning:

ยท Install and commission SWAN analytical instruments at customer locations.

ยท Ensure proper calibration and configuration to meet customer specifications.

1. Preventive Maintenance:

ยท Conduct routine preventive maintenance activities to ensure instruments operate at peak performance.

ยท Keep detailed maintenance records and update service documentation.

1. Technical Support:

ยท Provide exceptional technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits.

ยท Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments promptly and effectively.

1. Repair and Upgrades:

ยท Perform instrument repairs, replacements, and upgrades as required.

ยท Coordinate with the support admin and manager to source and order replacement parts.

1. Customer Training:

ยท Train customers on the proper use, maintenance, and calibration of water instrumentation.

ยท Offer guidance on optimizing instrument performance.

1. Documentation:

ยท Maintain accurate service records, equipment logs, and reports.

ยท Ensure timely submission of service reports and required documentation.
